The Darwin Convention Centre is well equipped for interactive multi-media technology, wireless internet and networking solutions, with technology specialists on hand to ensure all your communication needs are met.
All meeting rooms have access to Bandwidth on Demand for internet, telephone lines, facsimile, data lines, and a complete fibre optic category six backbone throughout the Centre linking all meeting rooms.
Special requirements such as Wi-Fi, cyber cafes, video conferencing and high speed data processing can all be organised on request.
Providing a massive area of 4,000 square metres of air-conditioned, column-free space, the Darwin Convention Centre easily operates as a modern Exhibition Centre.
At full capacity we can provide space for up to 225 exhibition booths, or the halls can subdivide the halls into one, two or three individual spaces to best suit your requirements.

The Darwin Convention Centre has mobile staging facilities that can cater for stage sizes up to 12m x 12m x 1.2m (40' x 40' x 4') along with p.a. wings.
There are extensive flying points throughout the Centre’s ceilings to allow for complex rigging designs and the hanging of special lighting and AV equipment, as well as promotional displays.
There are LCD display screens throughout the Centre providing a facility for daily program information, special announcements, PowerPoint presentations, promotional footage and even sponsor advertising.
Electronic signage is available at the registration desk for information displays, promotional opportunities or simply to welcome delegates.
The Exhibition Hall features service pits installed in the floor to provide power, data, telephone lines and even water and waste facilities.
There are many additional opportunities to theme the entire Centre with corporate or conference branding, and have a dynamic impact on your event attendees.
We’re proud to say that the Darwin Convention Centre is a venue where all can feel welcome. From parents with prams to the elderly and disabled, there are facilities to ensure your visit is enjoyable and accommodating.
There is lift and ramp access to all areas of the Centre, as well as automatic doors, drop-off points and parking bays for guests with disabilities. All internal and external doors have been designed with easy wheelchair access in mind, while the back row of seating in the auditorium is removable to accommodate delegates in wheelchairs.
A wireless hearing augmentation system has been installed throughout the Centre to assist hearing-impaired people, and all lifts, meeting and function rooms have braille directional and architectural signs to assist those the vision impaired.
We have a number of rest rooms designed for the physically challenged, which also accommodate for parents with baby-change facilities.
Your safety is always important to us. The Darwin Convention Centre has a fully equipped first aid room complete with defibrillator, evacuation chair, wheelchair and other first-aid supplies. Defibrillators are also installed in high traffic areas in the Centre.
Designated staff have been trained to handle first-aid emergencies, with each event allocated a qualified First Aid Officer who will be on hand at all times.
The Darwin Convention Centre provides a safe and secure environment for every event we host. Our security staff are trained in every aspect of security, as well as being friendly and knowledgeable about the Centre, its facilities and surroundings.

The Darwin Convention Centre offers 300 parking spaces, with easily accessible public car parks also available throughout the Darwin Waterfront Precinct.
