NT Business Events and the Darwin Convention Centre were a delight to work with from the bid, through to the planning and delivery of the event. The Convention Centre was proactive, flexible and provided professional advice. The Conference Organiser, AA&P Events, worked hard behind the scenes, along with the Convention Centre, on the event logistics. The positive and trusted relationship with the teams involved was the secret sauce in delivering a world class event in Darwin.

The SNAICC'23 conference was our largest and most successful to date. We were very excited to have our conference in the Top End, allowing us to connect with our colleagues and the sector up north and to the Traditional Owners and culture of the saltwater people.
Feedback received from delegates was overwhelmingly positive and supportive. They loved the location, being able to explore the surrounding Darwin area and Top End, visiting waterfalls and waterholes. They enjoyed the balmy weather, access to attractions and restaurants, and the opportunity to engage with and learn about local Aboriginal culture. The location was ideal and the service and support was wonderful.

We held our conference in Darwin in 2022. It was the first conference post-pandemic lockdowns, and it was an opportunity to reengage with members in a large-scale conference format after close to 3 years. Our experience at the Darwin Convention Centre was a positive one. Their team was extremely helpful and provided support as the Association trailed a new floorplan and format for conference proceedings. The team's responsiveness to requests by the Association and exhibitors was greatly appreciated. And the quality of the catering and beverage services was commented on by many of our delegates.
The Centre and its location certainly provided “the Darwin” experience being situated within the Waterfront Precinct.
