The Darwin Convention Centre acknowledges the traditional custodians, the Larrakia people, of the land on which the Darwin Convention Centre stands. We pay our respects to the Elders past and present, for they hold the memories, the traditions, the culture and hopes of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
Darwin is a place that welcomes and values people of every kind. It has an estimated population of 147,000 (ABS, 2018-19), which is comprised of 60 nationalities.
