The annual Rural Medicine Australia Conference will be hosted this October at the Darwin Convention Centre. This annual conference is the peak national event for rural and remote doctors of Australia and internationally and is hosted by the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) and the Rural Doctors Association of Australia (RDAA).
Rural Medicine Australia presents an engaging program designed to educate and inform rural health professionals. It attracts a diverse and collaborative community of junior doctors, students, educators, academics, and medical practitioners who are passionate about generalist medicine in rural and remote communities.
Key topics for this year’s event include Indigenous health, refugee health, women in health, tropical medicine, innovation in remote setting and research in policy and practice.
In additional to the three-day conference, there will be pre and post-conference courses available. The action-packed event also includes a social program that will allow delegates to experience some of the best of Darwin’s outdoor dining experiences while networking with colleagues.
Registrations for the conference are now open.
