The Darwin Convention Centre is pleased to announce that our very own Jay Mejica has been selected as a FINALIST in the 2022 Venue Industry Awards for Venue Professional of the Year!

The Venue Industry Awards is the leading awards program within the venue management industry for the Asia Pacific region, recognising the leaders, innovators, and go-getters of our industry.

Jay has worked at the Centre for the past seven years and held positions from Banquet Manager, Bump-In Manager, to Senior Event Planner. He has always remained a passionate, creative, and dedicated team member who gives 100% to his role. Whether it be working closely with his colleagues or assisting clients, his charm and friendliness are always noted.

We would like to congratulate Jay on this incredible achievement and wish him all the best at the upcoming VMA Awards ceremony on 01 June.
