Territorians were exploring their futures at Expo

Over 3,000 people attended the NT Skills, Employment and Careers Expo hosted at the Darwin Convention Centre over the past couple of days.  The Expo provided the opportunity to explore a wide variety of jobs and career avenues.

Attendees got the chance to meet leading training providers, higher education institutions, employment agencies, group training companies, employers and service providers.

One of the highlights was the ‘try a skill’ which gave people the opportunity to have a go at range of occupations including being a paramedic, driving an excavator, hairdressing and a photographer.

The Expo attracted mainly school students but adults looking for a career change or skills enhancement also came along.
