South East Asia Survey Congress
SEASC 2019 will be hosted as a joint international congress by the South East Asia’s leading regional survey summit, the Surveying & Spatial Sciences Institute (SSSI), the peak body for Australia’s spatial professionals and the ASEAN Flag Surveying nations in Darwin, Northern Territory Australia from 15 - 18 August.
The theme for the 2019 Congress is Collaboration | Communication | Capacity Building.
It is anticipated that over 500 surveyors across Asia Pacific region will attend this international congress and include surveyors from across SE Asia, The Pacific, Australia and New Zealand. The conference will focus on how the surveying remains relevant to the needs of society through working collaboratively to meet the future technical, social and environmental challenges in digitally connected surroundings. Mr Hellen said that SEASC2019 Darwin would deliver an extraordinary professional, cultural and social diversity experience.
SEASC2019 Darwin Congress promises a hearty Top End welcome to delegates from across Australia, South East Asia, and globally. Delegaes will get to experience some of the most stunning landscapes and the oldest continuing culture in the world. The program promises to be world-standard including speakers and interactive sessions, and personal and professional experiences.
